Di usung oleh HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar pada tahun 1984, The Art of Living telah tersebar dilebih dari 140 negara di dunia, dan telah menyentuh lebih dari 300 juta orang dari segala penjuru bumi. Dengan status konsultatif khusus, The Art of Living telah menjadi naungan kegiatan sosial bagi lebih dari 2 juta ‘karyawan’ yang tersebar di seluruh dunia.

Pertama kali didirikan pada awal tahun 90an, YSK mulai mengadakan lokakarya Art of Living di Indonesia, dimana ribuan orang telah menikmati kelebihan dan peningkatan kualitas hidup melalui ketahanan tubuh yang meningkat serta kestabilan mental yang terjaga.
With the intention of creating a world where people have a disease-free body, a stress-free mind and a society free from violence, what began from humble beginnings has now grown into the world’s largest volunteer-based non-profit organization.
With chapters in over 140 countries around the world, touching more than 300 million lives worldwide, The Art of Living Foundation is home to millions of volunteers from all walks of life. And through these volunteers, countless souls have benefited from the Art of Living’s fast growing programmes in education & community related activities.
Founded by the renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader, H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 1984, the Foundation works in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, participating in a variety of committees and activities relating to health, education, sustainable development, conflict resolution and disaster relief efforts.
The foundation has been active in South-East Asia, including Indonesia, since the early 90’s, and it continues to touch people with its Practical Yoga, Knowledge & Breathing workshops, as well as many other programmes designed to promote human values & raise the quality of life.
